Blow-up 1968 Polish A1 Film Poster, Waldemar Swierzy

Michelangelo Antonioni's Blow-Up catches Swinging London at its coolest and most unsettling. David Hemmings stars as a fashion photographer who may have captured a murder, in a film where glossy surfaces, sexual freedom and creeping paranoia collide.

Waldemar Swierzy strips the story down to a brilliant burst of colour and abstraction. Red, blue and yellow forms spread across the sheet like an enlarged photographic grain, turning the poster into a bold Pop Art puzzle. A sharp, rare piece of Polish cinema design for one of the defining films of the 1960s. Love it.

This original movie poster was folded (as issued) but has been stored flat a long time and folds softened and barely noticeable. It is sized approx. 23 x 32 1/2 inches and will be sent rolled (unframed).
