Solaris 1972 Polish A1 Film Poster, Andrzej Bertrandt

Andrei Tarkovsky's Solaris is cerebral science fiction at its most haunting. Set aboard a space station orbiting a mysterious planet, the film turns an alien encounter into a meditation on memory, grief, love and the limits of human understanding.

We adore this extremely rare Polish poster for Tarkovsky's classic. Andrzej Bertrandt creates a hypnotic visual machine: a vast white grid bends towards a small target of electric colour, floating in deep charcoal space. Minimal yet intense, the design captures the film's pull towards the unknown without giving anything away. A striking Polish poster for a true sci-fi landmark.

This original movie poster was folded (as issued) but has been stored flat a long time and folds softened and barely noticeable. It is sized approx. 22 3/4 x 32 3/4 inches and will be sent rolled (unframed).
