Vertigo 1963 Polish A1 Film Poster, Roman Cieslewicz

One of our favourite new additions. Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo is a fever dream of obsession, identity and dangerous desire. James Stewart and Kim Novak lead a film that spirals through San Francisco with an atmosphere unlike anything else in classic Hollywood.

Roman Cieslewicz replaces romance with a brutal, unforgettable image: a stylised finger print suited skeleton crowned by a coloured target. Stark black ink, rough photographic texture and a few perfectly placed rings turn the poster into a visual shock. Dark, cerebral and iconic, it is one of the great Polish interpretations of Hitchcock. An extremely rare poster in wonderful condition. 

This original movie poster is rolled and is sized approx. 23 1/8 x 32 7/8 inches. It will be sent rolled (unframed).
