Superb original Swiss advertising poster from c1930 by artist Noel Fontanet for Amer Picon Chaud. Great art deco wine and spirits advertisement. 

Fontanet was a Swiss graphi artist who wored for many brands to create a number of well known product posters in this wonderful 30s/40s style.

Picon is the brand name for a bittersweet French apéritif with a unique orange flavour. In French, amer means "bitter," and this spirit is known best as Amer Picon (or Picon Amer). Made with orange peels, gentian root, and cinchona, Amer Picon appeared in the original recipes for many classic cocktails.

This original vintage movie poster has been professionally linen-backed is sized 35 3/4 x 50 1/4 inches (plus a little more with the linen). It will be sent rolled (unframed).
