Gösta Åberg was one of the great shape-shifters of Swedish poster design. Across thousands of film campaigns, he moved effortlessly between painted glamour, adventure, comedy, noir and bold modern graphics. Whether reimagining Bergman, Chaplin, Bond or Superman, Åberg gave each film its own visual world: dramatic, colourful and often far more inventive than the original international artwork.
