We adore this original Bally 1980 French fashion advertising poster. A wonderfully chic example of late twentieth-century fashion publicity: bold, playful and immediately stylish.
Bally, the historic Swiss luxury house, was founded in 1851 by Carl Franz Bally and became internationally known for its beautifully made footwear and leather goods. This poster captures that sense of refined style while adding a fashion-forward 1980s energy — graphic, confident and highly decorative.
The artwork is by Pierre Fix-Masseau, a French poster artist celebrated for his elegant commercial design and strong Art Deco influence. Son of the sculptor Pierre Félix Fix-Masseau, he became particularly known for his sophisticated poster work, including the famous 1932 railway poster Exactitude.
This vintage advertising poster is sized 14 3/4 x 22 inches. It will be sent rolled (unframed)
