Space Amoeba 1971 French Grande Film Poster, Constantin Belinksy

We simply adore the vibrant, rich artwork on the French poster for Ishirô Honda'a 1970s Japanese Monster movie Space Amoeba (Les Enhahisseurs de L'Espace). Constantin Belinksy's sumptuous design is superb. Beautiful colours.

Constantin Belinsky, born on February 28, 1904 in Bratslav (Ukraine) and died on April 17, 1999 in Paris, is a French poster designer, painter and sculptor of Ukrainian origin. Belinsky studied painting and sculpture at the Kishinev School of Fine Arts. He moved to Paris in 1925 and in 1930 designed his first posters for the cinema. With his unmistakably expressive style and bold use of colours, he is one of our favourite designers of French film posters.

This vintage movie poster was folded (as issued) but has been professionally linen-backed. It is sized 45 3/4 x 61 3/4 inches (48 1/2 x 64 inches including the linen-backing) and will be sent rolled (unframed).
