Venice Venezia Lido c1930 Italian ENIT Travel Advertising Poster, Marcello Dudovich and Marcello Nizzoli

Commissioned by ENIT – Italian Government Tourist Board. This stylish Art Deco travel poster from c1930 was created by renowned Italian artists Marcello Dudovich and Marcello Nizzoli for ENIT to promote the fashionable seaside resort of Lido di Venezia.

Featuring a woman in a bathing suit gazing toward the iconic skyline of Venice, the poster blends glamour and sophistication with bold colour and geometric design. It captures both the allure of beachside leisure and the timeless beauty of Venice, reflecting the elegance and optimism of the interwar travel era.

Dudovich was a master of Italian poster art known for his refined, decorative style, while Nizzoli, later famed for his industrial designs at Olivetti, brought a modernist edge. Together, they created a visual icon of Jet Age tourism and Italian graphic excellence. An extremely rare and beautiful poster.

This original vintage travel poster has been professionally linen-backed and is sized 27 5/8 x 38 1/4inches(plus a little with the linen-backing). It will be sent rolled (unframed).
