Wonderful authentic US Insert film poster for 70s bonafide monster horror classic Jaws. A superb and rare country-of-origin first-year-of-release poster featuring the iconic design by Roger Kastel. 

This is a guaranteed authentic original poster. Sadly fake Jaws inserts do exist and have been been sold by the same unscrupulous sellers since the 1990s. The quality of the fakes are very good because they were unauthorised re-strikes printed by NSS employees in the mid to late 1980's. Sometimes referred to as "minty whites", although starting to age now and, in many cases, no longer bright white. 

There are two kinds of originals, with and without the PG ratings box. The version with the ratings box, which we have here, has no known convincing bootlegs, the version without the ratings box is the one that has a minty white knockoff. The fake has cropped artwork and a "hair" - flaw that is to the right and below of the swimmer.

This vintage movie poster was in very rare rolled condition and has now been professionally linen-backed with light touch-up. It is sized is sized 14 x 36 inches (plus a little extra with the linen-backing). It will be sent rolled (unframed).
