Laurel and Hardy Almost Always Funny 1933, Eric Rohman

Laurel and Hardy made screen chaos look effortless: one raised eyebrow, one slow burn and suddenly the whole world is collapsing around them. This early-1930s Swedish programme captures the pair in their prime, when their short comedies had become a global language.

Eric Rohman’s artwork turns Stan and Ollie’s instantly readable faces into bold graphic comedy. One of Sweden’s most important and prolific poster artists, Rohman created thousands of designs and became particularly celebrated for his fast, expressive film work. Warm, funny and enormously charming, this is the sort of poster that improves the mood of an entire room.

This original movie poster is sized approx. 27 1/2 x 39 1/4 inches. It will be sent rolled (unframed).
