Top Gun, but not as you know it. This Egyptian poster for Tony Scott's 1986 hit swaps the familiar studio campaign for hand-painted jets, blazing contrails and portraits of Tom Cruise and Kelly McGillis beneath bold Arabic lettering.

The film is pure eighties pop cinema — speed, romance, synths and aviation fetishism. The Egyptian artwork makes it feel even more wonderfully period and collectible.
